Best of you

5. "The best of people during fitnah is a man who takes up the reins of his horse pursuing the enemies of Allah, causing them fear yet they make him fearful too, or a man who secludes himself in the desert fulfilling the rights of Allah upon him." [Hâkim, Sahîh]

Quotes to remember

4. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (peace be upon him) said:“He who gave up disputing while he is right, a palace of high rank in Paradise will be built for him. He who gave up disputing while he is a fabricator, a palace in the center of Paradise will be built for him.” (al-Tirmidhi who declared it as hasan)

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Kissing One's Hands or Putting One's Hand on the Heart after Giving Salaams

Question:

I see some people after shaking hands, they kiss their hands or they put their hand on their chest to show more love, so is this permissible? Benefit us may Allah reward you with good.
Answer:

This action has no origin from what we know in the legislation of Islaam, and it is not legislated to kiss the hand or put it on the chest after shaking hands, rather it is an innovation if he believes that he will get closer to Allah subhaana with it.
