Best of you

40. "The most beloved of people according to Allah is he who brings most benefit, and the most beloved of deeds according to Allah the Mighty, the Magnificent, is that you bring happiness to a fellow Muslim, or relieve him of distress, or pay off his debt or stave away hunger from him. It is more beloved to me that I walk with my brother Muslim in his time of need than I stay secluded in the mosque for a month. Whoever holds back his anger, Allah will cover his faults and whoever suppresses his fury while being able to execute it, Allah will fill his heart with satisfaction on the Day of Standing. Whoever walks with his brother Muslim in need until he establishes that for him, Allah will establish his feet firmly on the day when all feet shall slip. Indeed, bad character ruins deeds just as vinegar ruins honey." [Tabarâni, Hasan]

Quotes to remember

12. `A’ishah (ra) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, “The most hated person with Allah is the most quarrelsome person.” (al-Bukhari)

Salafs sayings

It is reported that Imām Al-Zuhrī – Allāh have mercy on him – said:

Those of our scholars who went before us used to say,”Adherence to the Sunnah is salvation, but knowledge is taken away quickly, so the revival of knowledge means the stability of religion and worldly affairs, and the loss of knowledge means the loss of all that.”

I Have a Dream and then it comes true

Question:

As a young girl eighteen years of age, I am - all praise is due to Allah - a practicing Muslim. I have a lot of dreams, most of them bad, and only after a few days pass, they come to pass; they come true: some form of hardship afflicts my family. After I have these dreams, I tell my family, and invoke Allah Almighty to give us refuge from them, please inform me of what I can do to ward off these afflictions.
Answer:

When somebody has a dream about something they dislike, they should spit three times to the left, seek refuge three times in Allah Almighty from the Shaytan and from the evil they saw. Then they should turn to the other side; then it will not hurt them. Also, one should not inform anybody about the dream since the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasallam said that someone who has a bad dream should do what I just mentioned. If somebody sees what pleases him, he should praise Allah Almighty for that and not inform anybody except whom he loves, as has also been related authentically from the Messenger of Allah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam.
