The Meaning Of The Statement Wa Ta'alaa Jadduka In The Opening Supplication Of The Prayer

Question:

What is the meaning of our statement in the opening supplication of the prayer: Wa ta'aala jadduka (Lit. and exalted is your majesty)?
Answer:

The meaning of that is: exalted is Your Grandeur and Your Majesty, as He said the One free from all imperfections in Surah al-Jinn, from the Jinns that they said:
'And exalted be the Majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife, nor a son (or offspring or children). (Al-Jinn 72:3)

May Allaah grant success to everyone.
