What Are Angels And Iblees Created From?
Question:
Indeed Allaah has created Aadam from clay and He created before him the Angels and amongst the Angels was Iblees and He created him from fire, why then did He create him from fire and what are Angels created from?
Answer:
It is established from the Messenger of Allaah (SAW) from the hadeeth of 'Aisha (AS) that she said :
"The angels are created from light and the Jinns are created from a smokeless fire and Aadam was created from that which has been described to you."
Meaning from clay, this [hadeeth] is reported by Muslim in his saheeh.
As for the wisdom in that then Allaah the Most Perfect and Most High knows of it and He is the Most Wise All-Knower of everything what He creates and legislates, there is no censure of His Judgement and there is no warding off His Decree. And He has full ability and power over everything.
