The ruling on paying Az-Zakah to one's mother

 


Question:

Is it permissible for a person to give Az-Zakah to his mother?
Answer:

It is not allowed for the Muslim to give his Zakah to his parents or his children. Rather he should spend on them from his wealth if they need that and he is able to spend on them. And success is from Allah
