Best of you

28. "The best of the world's women are four: Maryum bint 'Imrân, Khadîjah bint Khuwaylid, Fâtimah bint Muhammad and Âsiyah the wife of Fir'awn." [Ahmad, Sahîh]

Quotes to remember

8. Bilal ibn Sa’d radiAllahu `anhu (ra) said, “If you see a disputing, arrogant, and bigoted person, bear in mind that they are utterly lost.”

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Az-Zakah for a person who wants to get married

Question:

There is an upright(i.e., religous)young man who wants to get married, and there is no doubt that he needs assistance to complete the matter of marriage. Is it permissible for me to give him from Az-Zakah to help him in the matter of his marriage?
Answer:

It is permissible to pay Az-Zakah to this young man as a means of helping him get married if he cannot afford it. And Allah is the Giver of success.
