39. "The most beloved of speech according to Allah the Most High is that which Allah chose for his Angels: Subhâna Rabbî wa bihamdihî, Subhâna Rabbî wa bihamdihî, Subhâna Rabbî wa bihamdihî." [Tirmidhî, Sahîh]

Quotes to remember

10. `Umar (ra) said, “Do not learn knowledge for three things and do not leave it for three things. Do not learn it to dispute over it, to show off with it, or to boast about it. Do not leave seeking it out of shyness, dislike for it, or contending with ignorance in its stead.”

Salafs sayings

It is reported that Imām Al-Zuhrī – Allāh have mercy on him – said:

Those of our scholars who went before us used to say,”Adherence to the Sunnah is salvation, but knowledge is taken away quickly, so the revival of knowledge means the stability of religion and worldly affairs, and the loss of knowledge means the loss of all that.”

The ruling of giving Az-Zakah to a single family

Question:

If a man pays the Zakah of his wealth and it is only a little bit, like 200 riyals for example, is it better for it to be given to one needy family or should it be divided amoung a number of needy families? Please benefit me with an answer, and may Allah reward you with good.
Answer:

If the Zakah is a small amount, then giving it to a single needy family is better and more preferred. This is because distributing it among numerous families, with its small amount, will decrease its benefit.
