Best of you

47. "The best of you are those with the softest shoulders during prayer." [Bayhaqi, Hasan]

Quotes to remember

17. “Do not invoke Allah’s curse, His anger, or Hellfire.” (al-Tirmidhi who declared it hasan sahih)

Salafs sayings

It is reported that Imām Al-Zuhrī – Allāh have mercy on him – said:

Those of our scholars who went before us used to say,”Adherence to the Sunnah is salvation, but knowledge is taken away quickly, so the revival of knowledge means the stability of religion and worldly affairs, and the loss of knowledge means the loss of all that.”

Al-Lālakā`ī, Sharh Usūl I’tiqād Ahl Al-Sunnah article 136

Prayer Behind The Blind-Followers

Question:

Question 159: Is it Allowed to pray behind the Mut'assibeen (the fanatically bigoted ones) from the people of the Four Madhdhabs?

Answer:

If their Ta'ssub (fanatical bigotry) does not lead them to reject a Quranic Aayah or a Prophetic Hadeeth whilst having knowledge of that, then there is no harm in praying behind them. If it is the case that they reject a Quranic Aayah or a Prophetic Hadeeth based upon Ta'ssub to their Madhdhab whilst they know that then it is not permissible to follow nor to pray behind them. And we advise Ahlus-Sunnah to make yourself distinct and build a masjid for yourself, even if it is from adobes or dried date-palm leaves. For indeed they will not be able to spread the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah - Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÚáì Âáå æÓáã - except with Tamyeez (to make yourself distinct) if not then the Mubtadi'ah (the innovators) will never leave them to spread the Sunnah.
