Best of you

49. "The best of you are those who are best to their families." [Tabarâni, Sahîh]

Quotes to remember

3. “And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys… But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book.”(Qur’an, 31:19-20)

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Seeking medical treatment during prayer times

Question:

Some of those that are sick have operations performed on them during prayer times, and so after the operation is finished there remains in the person anesthetization for up to two hours whilst the time of the prayers passes by and ceases so what is to be done?
Answer:

That which seems apparent is that he is forgiven/excused from them if it is that the prayer time has finished, as for if there is still some time remaining for the prayer, then he should pray under whatever condition is possible for him, this is because making up the prayer (once missed) has not been established except for in the case of sleep and forgetfulness. So the Prophet (Sallaallaahu 'alaihi wa 'alaa aalihi wa sallam) said: ((whomsoever slept through the time of his prayer, or forgets concerning it, then its time is when he remembers it.))
