Best of you

21. "The best of you are those who feed others and return greetings." [Abu Ya'lâ, Hasan]

Quotes to remember

23. ‘Ali ibn Zaid mentioned, “A man of the Quraysh spoke harshly to the Caliph `Umar Ibn ‘Abdul ‘Aziz who remained silent for a long time and then said, “You wish that the devil rouses in me the pride of the Caliphate and I treat you so rudely that you can take revenge tomorrow (in the Afterlife) on me.”

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Women removing the hair from their chin & legs

Question:

Is it permissible for a women to discard her hair that grow on her chin or on her legs?
Answer:

As for the permissibility - then it is permissible; but if treatment can be found which can eliminate it in one go then so be it. As for the hair on the legs of the woman then they are not a deformity, and An-Nawawi said: "it is an obligation [to remove them] so that she should not resemble the men, so it is obligatory for her to do so if there is growth on her chin that she removes it, and as for the hair on her legs, then there is no harm in removing them, and it is not like the beard".
