Best of you

24. "The best of that which you treat yourself with is cupping." [Hâkim, Sahîh]

Quotes to remember

13. Ibn Qutaybah said that his disputant said to him, “What is the matter with you?” He replied to him, “I will not dispute with you.” The disputant then said, “Thus you have come to know that I am right.” Ibn Qutaybah responded, “No, but I respect myself more than that.” At this the disputant retracted and said, “And I will not claim a thing that is not my right.”

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Performing the Jumu'ah prayer in the workplace

Question:

Is it permissible to perform the Jumu'ah prayer in a place of work along with the sermon with those that work there?
Answer:

If it is difficult for them to go to the Masjid, then they should designate a place that can be used as a Masjid so they could pray there. So if it be the case that it is difficult for them to designate a place to be used as a Masjid on a constant basis - then they can pray in their place of work, and there is no harm in that due to there being a lack of definitive proof that it (Jumu'ah prayers) are not correct except if held in a Jaami' or in a Masjid.
