Best of you

6. "The best of mankind is my generation, then those that follow them and then those that follow them. Then there shall come a people after them who will become avaricious, who will love gluttony, and who will give witness before they are asked for it." [Tirmidhî, Sahîh]

Quotes to remember

24. Ibn ‘Abbas (ra) narrated, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “And when you get angry, keep silent.” (Ahmad, Ibn Abi Dunya, al-Tabarani, and al-Bayhaqi)

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Camel Meat Invalidates Wudhu

Question:

A question about camel meat, does it nullify Wudhu? A Hadith has been reported concerning a man who broke wind, and the Messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) ordered all those present to make Wudhu and we learnt in primary school that it invalidates the ablution.
Answer:

This story is completely baseless and it is a lie against the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam). The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) was perfectly able to say at that time: Whoever broke wind should make ablution. And he would not have ordered the whole gathering to do it, due to not knowing the identity of the perpetrator. The correct opinion is that it is obligatory to perform ablution after eating camel meat, whether it be little or much, raw or cooked, whatever part of the carcass it is taken from, based upon the words of the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam): Make ablution after eating camel meat. [1] And a man asked him: O Messenger of Allaah! Should we make ablution after eating goat? He (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) replied: If you wish. He said: Should we make ablution after eating camel meat? He (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said: Yes [2] Since he made it optional for Wudhu to be made after eating goat, it proves that making Wudhu after eating camel meat is not optional. This is the meaning of the obligation to make Wudhu after eating female camel meat.
