Best of you

47. "The best of you are those with the softest shoulders during prayer." [Bayhaqi, Hasan]

Quotes to remember

11. It was narrated that Abu Hanifa said to Dawud al-Taa’i, “Why do you prefer seclusion?” Dawud replied, “To struggle against myself to leave disputing.” Abu Hanifah said, “Attend meetings, listen to what is said, and remain silent.” Dawud said, “I have done so, but I have found nothing heavier than this.”

Salafs sayings

It is reported that Imām Al-Zuhrī – Allāh have mercy on him – said:

Those of our scholars who went before us used to say,”Adherence to the Sunnah is salvation, but knowledge is taken away quickly, so the revival of knowledge means the stability of religion and worldly affairs, and the loss of knowledge means the loss of all that.”

Al-Lālakā`ī, Sharh Usūl I’tiqād Ahl Al-Sunnah article 136

Is the D'awah strengthened under a hizb (party spirited group)?

Question:

And the speech of some of them: Indeed it is not possible for the D'awah to become strong except that it is under a sect (hizb)?[1]
Answer:

[The Shaykh replied]: We say: that this is not correct; rather the D'awah will indeed be strengthened whenever the individual binds himself to the Book of Allaah and the Sunnah His Messenger (Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã), following the narrations of the Prophet (Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã) and his Rightly-Guided Successors. 2
And the virtuous Shaykh Muhammad bin Saaleh al-Uthaymeen rahimahullaah said:

"We say: "Indeed this Nation (Ummah) will split into seventy three sects, all of them in the Hellfire except for one." then we say that whosoever opposes that which the Prophet (Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã) and his companions were upon, then he is included in these sects3."4

3 And indeed many people have been led astray due to these sects; like the sect (al-Firqah) of Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen and the sect of at-Tableegh and the sect of as-Surooriyyah and the sect of al-Qutubiyyah and the sect of al-Hamasiyyah and the sect of at-Turaathiyyah and the sect of as-Soofiyyah and the sect of al-Ash'ariyyah and the sect of al-Habashiyyah.
