36. "The most beloved of deeds according to Allah is that you die and yet your tongue is still moist from the remembrance of Allah." [Ibn Hibbân, Hasan]

Quotes to remember

9. Luqman `alayhi assalam (as) said to his son, “O son! Do not dispute with the knowledgeable lest they detest you.”

Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Part of Inviting to Allaah is the Distribution of Beneficial Islamic Cassettes

Question: Despite my young age, I wish to be a Da'iyah; however, I do not have suitable skills to do so. Is it enough for me to distribute Islamic books and audio cassettes?

Answer: Yes, it may happen that someone is not able to call others by himself, but is able to call distributing good Islamic books and tapes. But based on the assumption that he is not himself qualified for such Da'wah, he should not distribute these books or cassettes until he has presented them to a student of knowledge in order to learn of any errors they may contain. In this way he will not unknowingly distribute harmful material. Another way for one who is unable to call others, is that he can financially underwrite a project wherein a student of knowledge write something inviting others to do good.
