Salafs sayings

Abu ad-Dardaa narrated [Saheeh Muslim, No.6588]: The Messenger of Allaah said: «No believing servant supplicates for his brother behind his back (in his absence), except that the Angels say: "The same be for you too".»
al-Imaam an-Nawawee comments [Riyaadh as-Saaliheen #1494]: This hadeeth makes it evident that one who prays for someone in his absence also stands to benefit from it because the angel appointed for the task of praying for those who pray for others will pray for him, saying, "O Allaah! Grant him also the same which he has asked for others".

Keep your Bidah and your money!

Fatwa Shaykh Uthaymeen

Questioner: Shaykh, there is a man who belongs to an order (Tariqa) a Sufi order, he believes in Sufism and he practices some innovation. But this man assists in establishing some acts of good. Therefore the likes of this man, if he is criticized for his innovation and it becomes known amongst the people he will cease to assist the people of righteousness and good. So I do not know what to do O Shaykh?
Shaykh Uthaymeen: Does this man have an influence with his Dawah? Questioner: Yes, O Shaykh, he calls to his Bidah. Shaykh Uthaymeen: Therefore, which is the greater harm, poverty or misguidance? Questioner: Misguidance. Shaykh Uthaymeen: Misguidance is the greater harm. Thus if this man is a caller to his
innovation and he has an influence, it is obligatory to warn against him; even if he cuts off his charity; for he is only depriving himself. As for allowing him to remain and lead the slaves of Allah astray in order to earn out of it one or two Dirham; this is not possible.
